Clopixol oral drops Acute schizophrenia & other acute psychoses, severe acute state of agitation & mania 10-50 mg daily, max: ≥75 mg.
Chronic schizophrenia & other chronic psychoses 20-40 mg daily.
Agitation in the mentally retarded 6-20 mg daily, increased if necessary to 25-40 mg daily.
Agitation & confusion in senile patient 2-6 mg daily, increased if necessary to 10-20 mg daily.
Clopixol-Acuphase inj Initial treatment of acute psychoses, including mania & exacerbation of chronic psychoses 50-150 mg IM repeated if necessary, preferably w/ 2-3 days interval. Additional inj may be needed 24-48 hr after 1st inj in few patient.
Clopixol Depot inj Maintenance treatment of schizophrenia & other psychoses 200-400 mg IM every 2-4 wk.
